UvA MOOC – 2nd edition

If you still want to enroll in a MOOC about Communication Science, here is a great opportunity: the UvA MOOC will continue on September 12, 2013!
The course format will be the same – with video lectures, cartoons, quizzes and exam – and the team is very enthusiastic to improve tools and make the experience even better. In the first edition, 70% of students were Dutch, but the MOOC received students from more than 60 different countries. Numbers of enrollments were not ‘massive’ compared to Coursera’s popular choices (E-learning and Digital Culture from the University of Edinburg, for instance, had 42.874 participants), but as I pointed out here before, the UvA MOOC had a high completion rate compared to other initiatives.
I will definitely join this second version and learn even more, but of course, have fun, read additional materials and be more active in the forum. My Master thesis will end this semester, but the research will continue. Maybe for this next version would be interesting to try Google Hangouts or even MeetUps to discuss the content.
If you curious to learn more about this course, here are two great reviews:

Of course, it is already possible to enroll! Go to http://mooc.uva.nl. Are you joining?
